A July 2026 Montage Healdsburg stay felt like a luxurious treehouse escape to the advisor. An upgrade to Deluxe Forest View added an outdoor shower, while a furnished terrace with a firepit provided private, quiet breakfasts. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed, and the buildings’ relationship with existing oak trees made the grounds distinctive. Service was exceptional. The pool was pleasant rather than remarkable, and restaurant food was only average despite a beautiful vineyard setting. The advisor still saw it as an excellent weekend getaway.

A May 2026 inspection and lunch at Montage Healdsburg impressed the advisor with beautifully appointed accommodation, thoughtful service and a relaxed but polished atmosphere. Lunch was fresh and creative. Hiking and biking trails, archery, a substantial spa, yoga studio and separate family and adult pools added options. Despite being around ten minutes from Healdsburg, the setting felt far removed from town. The advisor would recommend it for a sophisticated, peaceful wine-country getaway.
