The guests felt warmly welcomed and thought the rooms, restaurant, bars and outdoor areas were beautifully done. Their only difficulty was finding check-in, which was in the restaurant without signs they could see. Once they found it, they thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

The guest reported that both they and their travel adviser contacted the hotel directly three times each without a response. They described the property as being at the far end of a large apartment complex and felt the dry brown vines in their view compared poorly with neighbouring green vineyards; they linked this to what they described as the late July–August harvest season. Travelling with two dogs, they had booked three nights and planned activities around the location. On their adviser's recommendation they chose an enhanced rate, and the hotel had been told about the pets. Arriving around 6 pm after a long drive, they asked about the enclosed area they believed had been arranged for the dogs and were told none was offered. Calls on the house phone and reservations line went unanswered, as did their immediate reply to a welcome text asking to change rooms. Their adviser's calls and email also received no response. After an hour looking for alternatives, they stayed that night because it was dark and they were tired, and had dinner. Around 7 am the next morning, staff finally replied, offering help with alternative accommodation; this turned out to be a second-floor room with the enclosed patio the guest said they had booked and requested from the start. They declined a free night to keep the reservation because they had already found another hotel and no longer felt safe, worrying that they would be unable to reach anyone in an emergency. They said the change disrupted their itinerary at considerable cost and stress. At checkout they were promised resort and breakfast credits, but found these missing from the bill at their next stop and had to call again; that call was answered. They reported receiving no reply or apology after submitting a detailed post-stay survey and letter. They were deeply dissatisfied.
