The guests enjoyed the resort’s festive grounds and also mentioned a visit to ICE. They appreciated their advisor’s help with the stay and hoped to return in summer to try the pools and other seasonal activities.

The mothers and their eleven- and twelve-year-old daughters loved the water slides, lazy river and many pools, with quick, pleasant service. Restaurants, shops, cafés and outdoor space meant little need to leave, although they did visit San Antonio’s Riverwalk. The guest strongly cautioned that the everywhere-present children made this a family destination rather than a choice for a child-free or couples’ trip.

The family loved this Texas hotel and rarely left once there. The waterpark was a favorite, with indoor children’s activities offering a break from the sun, plus clean, spacious rooms and helpful staff.
