During a June 2026 stay at Hotel Lungarno, the advisor appreciated the Arno-side location near Ponte Vecchio, close to the sights without feeling overwhelmed by tourists. Check-in was smooth, and the concierge quickly helped change dinner reservations at short notice. Breakfast offered a varied buffet and a full à la carte menu. Fresh flowers in the room and outdoor seating for a glass of wine at sunset added charm; the advisor noted that their hotel credit could be applied there. The significant drawback was cooling: during a heatwave, the room never cooled down sufficiently. The lifts were also small. Despite those limitations, the advisor enjoyed the stay and would recommend the hotel to clients.

Original art and a blend of classic style with contemporary comfort gave the hotel a strong sense of place. The advisor noted stylish rooms and suites, some with river views or terraces, plus marble bathrooms. An excellent lunch at Picteau Lounge Bar was hosted by the hotel’s sales team. Professional, welcoming staff reinforced the impression of a sophisticated Florence base.
