The hotel suited the guests' family well, with two adjoining rooms linked through a secured hallway opened by key. They could walk to all the sights they wanted to visit and appreciated breakfast being included. The air conditioning was effective during extreme summer heat. Their one dislike was the artificial air freshener, which they also noticed elsewhere during their Italian trip.

The guest liked the location and exceptional breakfast. Their room was slightly dated and needed minor repairs but was clean and comfortable. Staff generally dealt with things, and reception seemed consistently available. Their serious complaint concerned showerheads left pointing into the bathroom rather than the bathtub after cleaning. They linked this to a serious fall and reported continuing problems for weeks. They had informed the hotel and hoped the practice would change so nobody else fell.
