The guest loved the secluded setting, helpful staff, restaurant and spa treatment. A beautiful room was a little dark. The town shuttle was convenient, while parking in a lower lot and relying on golf carts around the resort was mildly cumbersome. They recommended it for a retreat outside downtown rather than a plaza-side stay.

The guests loved the secluded adobe setting, historic character and New Mexican design. Their resort-view two-queen room had a kiva fireplace, private balcony and a particularly large bathroom and rain shower. Warm staff, pool time and SkyFire breakfast pleased them. Spa and wellness experiences were left for a future visit because time was short.

The guests loved the peaceful grounds, on-site hiking and exceptionally kind staff. Spa visits, meals and drinks were excellent. Plenty of activities were available, though simply wandering and enjoying the scenery was equally rewarding. They hoped to return.

The guests liked an upgraded room, food, helpful concierge and flexible town shuttle. Snow limited outdoor activities, but massages and borrowed Mercedes cars for scenic trips were enjoyable; cars were first-come, with what they recalled as an approximately four-hour limit. Food felt very expensive with limited regional choices. Massage therapists were excellent, but the converted-suite spa lacked proper changing space and amenities; harsh gym lighting also discouraged use. Reception staff felt rude and unhelpful, unlike the wider team. An ant problem was not resolved despite attempts and apologies, though something was removed from the bill. They still recommended the hotel while raising these issues with management.

On a first Santa Fe trip, the guest and adult daughter loved the mountain setting, room fireplace and small courtyard for sunrise views. Clean accommodation, friendly staff and good breakfasts pleased them. They enjoyed a chocolate tasting but had too little time to try every activity offered.
