The guest liked this hotel about five minutes on foot from the train station. Their room was pleasant and clean, and staff were very friendly. They particularly enjoyed relaxing in the sauna and indoor pool and noted the on-site spa. Service, location and price made it a hotel they would recommend.

Stay ended · October 2024

The guests expected some disruption from on-site construction, but found the stay chaotic for other reasons too. Their room was spacious and clean, yet the beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom had visible mildew, and the shower backed up several inches with dirty water. Calls to staff went unanswered, so they had to visit reception even for extra toilet paper. They reported the blocked shower, but it was still unresolved after a day out. That evening, apparently after maintenance had left, a reception employee poured drain cleaner into it and asked them to wait 30 minutes, then run hot water for five minutes. They resented being given that task, and it only brought up more debris. They had to use the downstairs pool showers that night. A free breakfast or room upgrade was initially offered for the following day, which did not fit their full-day tour. The shower finally worked again when they returned on Friday. With help from their travel adviser, they obtained a refund for one day's hotel charges. They would not return.
