The guests loved the well-kept grounds, friendly staff and dining at Fish and Perch. Despite hearing The Cove was remote within Atlantis, they found walking easy and shuttles readily available, often quiet at their boarding point. They enjoyed visiting lively, noisy The Royal, then returning to The Cove’s calmer atmosphere, and would stay again.

Lapis Lounge felt worthwhile when used, though they only learned on the final night that included happy-hour drinks ran from 5–7 p.m. during their stay. Poolside food and drinks were their main disappointment because of high prices, including a $23 mojito.

The promised room-ready text still had not arrived by 6 p.m.; when they checked, staff reportedly laughed off the unreliable messaging system and said they should have asked earlier. A room beside an electrical room never cooled below 73°F, and the guest found a maintenance worker’s joking description of it as the worst room disrespectful.

Writing from a professional perspective after a firsthand stay, the advisor found The Cove calmer and more refined than Atlantis’s busier areas. They praised friendly staff, smooth check-in, housekeeping and spacious, comfortable accommodation with ocean views, tall windows and a private balcony. The adults-only pool and unusually calm sea during that visit were highlights. They saw dolphins, sharks and other marine life while walking around, without joining the animal encounters. The water park, casino, shops and restaurants were accessible, although the extensive grounds involved walking; complimentary shuttles helped between resort areas. Dining offered variety but was expensive, so the advisor recommended allowing for resort restaurant prices.
