The guest found the family stay disappointing compared with two other Cabo luxury hotels visited that week. Palmilla Social Club and Lucille's food felt ordinary, with little evening atmosphere, leading them to question enthusiastic reports from hosted advisor visits. Warm staff and a good kids' club were positives, but a rollaway requested early for a tired family still had not arrived after dinner despite repeated promises. Pool lunch took about 45 minutes to order and another 45 to arrive. A manager apologized but offered no practical remedy or gesture. They did not recommend the hotel, and would consider Lucille's only for convenient dining while playing golf or tennis.

The family enjoyed a laid-back holiday, beautiful pools and beach, excellent views and included breakfast. They felt reassured about safety and drinking water. Food prices surprised them, with margaritas and wine starting around $36 and burgers about $60 during the stay; children's meals also felt costly. Their assigned butler appeared on the first day, then contacts kept changing. Repeated requests were needed to clear room-service dishes, obtain ice and glasses and address a broken TV, closet door and closet light. Their parents received much better room and butler service, making the inconsistency frustrating. They remained grateful for a beautiful holiday while questioning the value and attention received.
