Reported visit · February 2026
During a February 2026 family stay and inspection at Montage Los Cabos, the advisor praised warm, polished service and a spacious Queen Queen Coastal Room with plunge pool. It comfortably housed two adults and two children, with ample storage, a large patio and a bathroom with outdoor shower and useful privacy curtain. The family received no upgrade during the fully booked winter-break period, yet pools and loungers never felt crowded. The cove was suitable for swimming in principle, but rocky underfoot and cold during this stay, so the family skipped water sports. Costs were the main caution. The kids’ club was about $130 per child daily; an $80 breakfast credit still left roughly $50 to pay for two adults ordering simply. Two pool tacos cost $30, a modest family dinner around $450, and a four-s’more kit $60. These were examples from the visit. Talay offered the strongest dining value, followed by Marea and Mezcal. Drinks included with children’s meals were not explained initially, and some had been charged separately. Pool service occasionally needed chasing, but frequent treats, toy gifts, personalised pillowcases and daily butler contact were excellent. Spa sauna and related areas required a treatment booking, with limited slots. The advisor recommended it for families or couples who budget generously for dining and children’s activities.
