Advisor stayed overnight
Reported visit · February 2025
During a February 2025 getaway for twelve women at Miraval Arizona, the advisor valued the freedom to choose individual activities and reunite for meals or private events. Standard rooms were comfortable, but four shared the renovated two-bedroom Unity Retreat, which became the group's gathering place. A kitchen, dining and living areas, fireplace, outdoor dining space, plunge pool and fire pit made it particularly useful. Dividing the cost among four felt only modestly more expensive than double-queen accommodation on that booking. A private horoscope-themed gathering and dinner added shared experiences. Yoga, horse-based sessions, drumming, aerial yoga and spa visits offered choices with skilled instructors. The group appreciated the device restrictions for helping them focus on time together. Food was excellent, with buffet and menu options at breakfast and lunch and ordered dinners. Staff were kind, attentive and knew guests by name. Concierge preparation began months before arrival, and booking activities early mattered because spaces filled. The advisor strongly recommended the balance of personal exploration and connection for a group retreat.
