Despite the excellent location, the advisor did not particularly enjoy their July 2026 stay at Mandarin Oriental Paris. The entry-category room was generously sized with a sitting area, but the bathroom layout was frustrating: no hooks for towels or robes, a shower area where surrounding surfaces became wet, and a vanity open to the room despite a separate toilet. The decor was acceptable but did not feel especially updated. Professional, responsive staff, an excellent gym and the pleasant breakfast area, particularly outside when weather allowed, were important positives. The advisor would still consider recommending the hotel with caveats. It would not be among their leading suggestions for clients specifically wanting to stay on the Left Bank.
