Advisor site inspection
Reported visit · September 2025
At a September 2025 inspection of Madeline in Mountain Village, the advisor liked its warm, locally inspired contemporary design and ski-in/ski-out setup with ski valet. Rooms faced Telluride’s mountains or the village garden, used as a winter ice rink; the category above entry added a furnished small balcony. Multibedroom residences offered space and en-suite bathrooms. A year-round heated outdoor pool, two hot tubs and a large modern gym strengthened the facilities. Timber Room’s fireplace, summer outdoor seating and polished cocktails impressed; Black Iron Grill offered elevated casual food, with outdoor tables incorporating fire features for warmth. The resort also had a simple coffee outlet. The concierge contacted the group ahead about dietary needs, activities and local dining. Welcoming service and seasonal activities stood out, though the advisor placed it a step below Four Seasons-style five-star luxury.
