Advisor stayed overnight
Reported visit · June 2026
During a June 2026 safari stay, the advisor found JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge the standout tented camp of a two-week trip. Staff were warm from arrival through departure, and the beautifully designed tents were exceptionally comfortable. Meals for the thirteen-person group felt fresh and personal. The chef checked in daily and prepared an outstanding Indian dinner for one family on the final evening. The advisor also liked the well-equipped gym and pool area. Each tent had a hot tub, but its heavy cover required staff help and heating had to be requested; their attendant kept theirs warm throughout the stay. A practical caution concerned monkeys and baboons taking items left on the deck, including wet swimwear. The advisor avoided the outdoor shower because of mosquitoes nearby. Those details accompanied an enthusiastic assessment of the lodge's service, dining and setting.
