Advisor stayed overnight
Reported visit · May 2026
During a May 2026 stay at InterContinental Seattle Bellevue, the advisor loved the distinctive design, artwork and thoughtful standard rooms but was disappointed by service. Minimal street signage made arrival difficult, and a concierge email sent two days before the trip went unanswered. No upgrade was offered despite apparent online availability, although the advisor recognised upgrades were not guaranteed. Included breakfast applied only to the buffet, not room service or the bar; the food was acceptable rather than memorable. A kind doorman did not translate into offered luggage help at either end of the stay. Hotel phones were out of service, and the alternative texting arrangement was not explained in the room. After difficulty ordering food, the advisor used an outside delivery service; staff questioned this without acknowledging the original problem. The visual appeal was strong, but the overall experience left them unwilling to return.
