During a February 2026 stay in two Classic Rooms, the advisor’s family of six enjoyed InterContinental Real Lima Miraflores. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, the concierge was helpful, and Larcomar’s shops, restaurants and waterfront were easy to reach on foot. Having previously stayed at the JW Marriott opposite, the advisor preferred this hotel’s quieter, more intimate atmosphere. The rooftop pool was a favorite, although seating was very limited. On the first day, a wedding group, including people said not to be hotel guests, dominated the pool area and obstructed service to others. Management intervened after complaints, and the problem did not recur; the advisor felt the servers had been trying hard throughout. The family’s dining experience was limited to cocktails at Circo and pizza for the children and their father. The advisor found few gluten-free options there. Despite the initial disruption, they enjoyed the stay and would consider returning, recommending sunset views from the rooftop or Larcomar.

During a July 2025 stay, described as a month or two after opening, the advisor’s family of four was impressed by InterContinental Real Lima Miraflores. The contemporary design felt fresh and welcoming. Staff were warm, professional and helpful, from arrival through restaurant recommendations, and the family consistently enjoyed the food, presentation and service in the outlets they tried. Their spacious room had two queen beds, comfortable bedding, useful storage and large windows; the well-designed bathroom had high-quality finishes and an excellent shower. The Miraflores location offered Pacific views and a walk of about five minutes to Larcomar’s shops and restaurants. The advisor felt comfortable in the lively neighborhood and warmly recommended the hotel as a base for exploring Lima.
