Advisor stayed overnight
Reported visit · November 2024
After two stays over roughly a year, including a visit dated November 2024, the advisor warmly recommended Presidente Cozumel’s understated midcentury style, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and effective air conditioning. Both stays were booked through Expedia before the reviewer became a Fora advisor. Paid upgrades had been offered on both bookings; beachfront rooms with terraces and sunset views were particular favorites. The main pool had sea views and paid cabanas, while the adults-only garden pool was especially quiet. The advisor enjoyed the sheltered swimming cove and snorkeling area. Service and the seafront breakfast buffet were excellent, and Le Cap’s Mediterranean-inspired food was good. They usually took a taxi into town for dinner, a journey described then as about ten minutes and ten dollars. The Italian and seafood restaurants, spa and onsite dive shop had not been tried. The advisor used an independent divemaster and valued pickup from the private pier, with the location south of town reducing boat journeys. Tennis lessons, a gym and places to relax also suited guests who were not diving.
