Advisor stayed overnight
Reported visit · December 2025
During a December 2025 stay at Inns of Aurora, the advisor enjoyed a peaceful Cayuga Lake setting and guesthouses with individual art, design and atmosphere. Houses could be booked in full or by the room. Check-in included a clear explanation of the Virtuoso benefits on this booking. Breakfast at 1833 and a daily happy hour were included as described, while Fargo Bar & Grill, the Village Market and the bookable Aurora Cooks chef’s-table experience gave other options; Fargo closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at that time. Activities mixed complimentary yoga, winery transport and guided walks with paid tastings. The spa was a highlight, with full-day and afternoon passes available without reserving a treatment, giving access to indoor and outdoor hydrotherapy. Texting reception worked especially well: a forgotten toothbrush prompted delivery of a small essentials kit in under ten minutes. The advisor found service seamless. Under the policy described during this visit, children under twelve and pets were not allowed unless an entire guesthouse was booked. With little children’s programming, it felt best suited to an adult escape.
