Advisor site inspection · Advisor stayed overnight
Reported visit · May 2026
After a May 2026 stay and inspection, Nantipa and Santa Teresa were the advisor’s favorite stop in Costa Rica. Getting there took effort: the account describes lengthy drives from international airports, versus domestic flights to Cóbano and a hotel-arranged transfer. The advisor used both Sansa and Green Airways successfully, including a short flight from La Fortuna. The small beachfront property felt open-air, barefoot and uncrowded, with lush landscaping, attentive staff who remembered preferences and a pool often nearly empty. Manzú provided enjoyable included breakfasts and other meals beside the beach. Concierge arranged surfing, mixology and a guided wildlife walk; town shops and restaurants were walkable without a car. Rooms were modern, clean and spacious with effective air-conditioning, large windows, sitting areas and bathrooms even in entry categories. Some had sea views and plunge pools, with larger options for families. Tiny seasonal crabs occasionally entered the room during the May visit; this did not bother the advisor, but was worth flagging. They would readily recommend it to travelers comfortable with the extra journey.
