They liked it both as a base for active groups exploring on foot or by bike and as a quiet overnight for couples before the return coastal drive. The pool was a highlight. A significant practical caveat was cooling: the advisor reported no air conditioning in the main rooms and only limited cooling in bungalows. Spa-related day passes were also mentioned for non-residents. For a local meal before leaving, they recommended asking reception for directions to the huli huli chicken at the end of town.
