Advisor stayed overnight
Reported visit · April 2026
During an April 2026 stay around Vail Mountain’s season-closing day, the advisor enjoyed Four Seasons Vail’s warm alpine atmosphere and a spacious Deluxe King upgrade with a fireplace and large tub. Tavernetta accommodated a late dinner after travel and was a major dining strength. The sixth-floor room transmitted corridor conversations more clearly than expected. A faulty shower drain left the guests standing in several inches of water, but maintenance fixed it almost immediately and the problem did not recur. The advisor understood missing turndown on the late arrival night, yet later housekeeping communication was confusing. A requested return in twenty minutes did not happen before the guests came back around 2 p.m.; a call then prompted priority cleaning while they used the pool. Another missed-service note appeared despite turndown already being done. The advisor thought seasonal staffing changes might have contributed but did not excuse the inconsistencies. Pool, spa and ski support added appeal. The stay remained highly enjoyable for comfort, location and dining, with quieter room placement and better housekeeping coordination the main reservations.
Advisor site inspection
Reported visit · April 2025
At an April 2025 ski familiarization inspection, the advisor found Four Seasons Vail one of the trip’s favorites. Access to Lionshead and Vail Village combined with a peaceful mountain setting. Remedy Bar’s terrace, fire pits, mountain and pool views made it appealing for après-ski, and the food tried there was excellent. Tavernetta’s warm wood and marquetry looked attractive, but the advisor did not eat there. A hat-making activity added interest, although it was unclear whether it was permanent or a temporary event.
