Four Seasons Preferred

Choose the island experience you want Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora is on Motu Tehotu, where the lagoon shapes both the view and the practicalities of a stay. It suits travelers prepared to spend substantial time at the resort. A trip built around independent evenings on Bora Bora’s main island needs boat planning, rather than the freedom to step out into a town. Overwater does not always mean a private pool Beach-view and Otemanu-view bungalow categories offer different outlooks; private plunge pools belong to specified categories. Compare the deck, bedroom and living arrangements as carefully as the photograph. Beachfront villa estates provide a different option for groups wanting shared space. With children, discuss open water access and the exact occupancy rules before selecting either. Price the complete journey Arrival normally combines an inter-island flight to Bora Bora with a boat transfer. Check connection timing, transfer charges, meals and any planned works affecting the facilities for your dates. Ask for the actual category and cancellation terms in writing. For another island format, compare the speedboat-accessed Four Seasons Kuda Huraa.

The guests loved Otemanu views and preferred keeping their well-placed bungalow rather than receiving an upgrade because of its outlook and privacy. Anniversary touches pleased them. Service was mostly good but uneven, especially housekeeping and concierge. A confirmed dinner venue closed without notifying them; an enjoyable Fara Hoe meal rescued the evening. Lagoon chairs were not retoweled between guests. Spa treatment and views pleased them, but tubs were not hot and locker rooms and bathrooms needed major renovation. Prompt pool service and breakfast included in their booking were strengths of a memorable visit.

Stay ended · September 2026

The honeymoon couple loved their overwater bungalow, lagoon setting, food and exceptional staff. The spread-out resort meant relying on buggies, which sometimes arrived later than expected. Despite those waits, they would love to return.
