Reported visit · February 2023
During a February 2023 stay and inspection, the advisor preferred Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco on Market Street for a more residential feel and larger entry rooms than the nearby Embarcadero property. The two hotels’ similar names warranted care when booking. Market Street offered generous bathroom counter space and inviting window seats, though not the Embarcadero’s bay views. The inspected Presidential Suite had entertaining space, a dining table and butler pantry, with an option to add a second bedroom. Guests could use Equinox in the building, and there was one hotel restaurant and bar. In the room assessed for wheelchair use, the bed height, shower bench and reachable controls worked well, as did the recessed sink space. The fixed mirror was too high, but staff promptly supplied a countertop mirror through the app chat. The advisor found that messaging service particularly responsive.
Professional working relationship
In client bookings with Four Seasons San Francisco, the advisor particularly valued a responsive, attentive booking contact who actively looked for ways to enhance clients' stays. That professional relationship was the basis of the recommendation.
