Advisor site inspection · Advisor stayed overnight
Reported visit · January 2026
A three-night family stay over New Year 2025–26, combined with an inspection, showed the advisor Fairmont Scottsdale Princess at its most festive. Lights, skating, rides and fireworks delighted the child, but the holiday festival admitted the public, so evenings were busy rather than secluded. The room and housekeeping remained consistently good despite full occupancy. During the tour, the Well & Being Spa’s rooftop pool and waterfall grotto impressed, as did the range of six pools, from family areas and slides to a quieter spa setting. Privado offered a more private enclave with its own arrival area and access to the main resort, which the advisor liked for groups wanting the facilities with less bustle. Bourbon Steak was excellent but felt overpriced; La Hacienda’s Mexican food, tableside guacamole and tequila offering provided better value. The advisor would return and recommend it for active families, spa breaks and groups, with early planning for holiday rooms and dining.
