Advisor stayed overnight
Reported visit · October 2024
On a four-night October 2024 stay at Fairmont Miramar, the advisor appreciated helpful advance communication, including receipt of a package, and an upgrade to a Premier Ocean View King on the north, pool-facing side of the tower. Balcony sunsets, a welcome bottle and chocolates, a quiet pool and easy beach walks made the stay memorable. They preferred keeping an ocean view over uninspected bungalows, despite the latter’s possible space advantage. Their HERA breakfast allowance was $70 per room daily, and they enjoyed chicken chilaquiles; a $100 credit went toward good Soko takeaway sushi. Lobby music and the bar patio were pleasant. Loaned cruiser bikes enabled a long coastal ride, while rideshares made city outings practical, though the concert trip involved traffic. The advisor valued being able to keep enjoying the hotel before an evening departure and strongly recommended its staff, amenities and access to Santa Monica restaurants.
