An August 2025 stay at Equinox Hotel New York impressed the advisor with its gym, fitness classes, modern rooms and Hudson Yards location, but service and crowding disappointed. The concierge promised to pursue a Polo Bar reservation when bookings opened, then overlooked it until the advisor followed up, leaving a scramble for an alternative. Check-in felt sales-focused: a paid upgrade was offered instead of the availability-based enhancement expected through the booking. Beautiful rooms included sleep-oriented technology, yet the weekend pool was so crowded that a lounger was nearly impossible to find. The atmosphere was energetic and social rather than tranquil. The advisor liked access to the High Line and the excellent fitness offering, but would not choose the hotel for families or travelers seeking quiet relaxation and a peaceful pool.

During a July 2025 stay at Equinox Hotel in Hudson Yards, the advisor enjoyed friendly, helpful staff and a beautiful, comfortable, spotless room. The important drawback was shared use of facilities with paying gym members. During this visit, the pool had no space available for hotel guests, which substantially limited that amenity despite the otherwise excellent stay.
