At a March 2026 group retreat taking over Domaine de Fontenille, the advisor enjoyed the small hotel’s personal, almost home-like atmosphere. Shared sitting rooms, a charming breakfast space, terrace and gardens encouraged slowing down, pétanque and time at the neighboring winery. A make-your-own-blend activity was particularly recommended; the advisor had also heard that blind tastings were enjoyable for groups. Rooms were spacious and comfortable but simple, with garden views the advisor’s preference. A bottle of Fontenille wine was offered during the visit. Spring suited the setting beautifully, though the advisor felt their March weather was lucky and would favor April or May.
