Describing repeat stays at Corinthia London, the advisor praised the extensive facilities and outstanding downstairs spa but still considered the hotel overrated. Service felt cold and lacking, and the location seemed isolated for the advisor’s preferences. The advisor did not drink yet continued to receive complimentary champagne. Repeated requests before and at arrival to avoid turndown were not followed, so the do-not-disturb sign was needed to prevent unwanted servicing. Beds felt extremely hard, although a down mattress topper was available on request. The grand surroundings did not make up for these service and comfort frustrations.
