The advisor began a June 2026 honeymoon at COMO Castello Del Nero and appreciated a personal welcome, a beautiful room upgrade and a private dinner in the garden. The old estate retained its historic character, even where the furnishings were unusual. Food was excellent, and the team readily rearranged a truffle hunt delayed by rain. There were service shortcomings: pool service could be slow, and two employees had a heated argument in front of guests, something the advisor would not have wanted clients to witness. The spa staff were lovely, although the space itself felt ready for a refresh. Despite those reservations, the setting, warmth and thoughtful touches made the advisor keen to return.
