Guest reviews

Guest experiences shared through Fora, edited for clarity and published with permission. Details and inclusions describe past stays and may differ for your booking.

Stay ended · September 2026

During a brief stay, this guest found COCO-MAT Athens BC average at best. The small, cramped rooms left little to recommend, and they would not return.

Stay ended · June 2026

After one night in June 2026, the guest would happily return for the location near the Acropolis, Plaka, shops and restaurants. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, and the friendly team helped arrange taxis. Breakfast had a generous choice, and everything they tried was good. The disappointment was that the rooftop was closed during their stay.

Stay ended · October 2025

The October 2025 guest strongly recommended the hotel for its staff, cleanliness, location, breakfast and gym. The drawback concerned the advertised rooftop bar and restaurant: the guest reported that they had already been closed for two years and saw no sign of a reopening. That concern did not outweigh the otherwise excellent stay.

Stay ended · October 2025

For these October 2025 guests, the hotel was a very good fit: clean, comfortable and decorated in a distinctive modern style with bird and turtle motifs. They also appreciated the bags containing a selection of drinks handed to them at check-in on that visit.
