Advisor stayed overnight
Reported visit · November 2025
During a November 2025 stay, the advisor found Carlisle Bay a personal beachfront option for guests not seeking the Caribbean’s highest-budget resorts. Rooms sat directly on the sand and friendly staff quickly remembered guests. Renovation was partway through: refreshed rooms were attractive, while older rooms remained dated. The spa and tennis facilities also needed work, reportedly planned over the following years, although the tennis coaching was good. The sandy beach appealed, but the water was not perfectly clear. The advisor favored choosing a renovated room and suggested the all-inclusive package because most meals would likely be eaten on property. It worked for the right expectations rather than being flawless.
Advisor site inspection
Reported visit · August 2024
An August 2024 Carlisle Bay inspection highlighted one-, two- and three-bedroom accommodation, with twin-bed second bedrooms useful for families. The briefing described included airport fast-track assistance but paid airport transfers, plus on-site taxis or guides. Four restaurants, spa, gym, tennis and pickleball offered variety. Non-motorised watersports and the children’s club for ages two to twelve were included, while private boat charters provided a separate excursion option.
