During an August 2025 stay at Blancaneaux Lodge, the advisor loved exceptionally fresh food, garden-to-table dining and a sociable bar. Produce came from the gardens, with homemade bread, eggs and excellent cocktails among the highlights. Their two-bedroom villa near the river had two bathrooms, a small kitchen, hammock and generous indoor–outdoor living areas. The maintained grounds, artwork and distinctive details impressed. They enjoyed pools, river bathing and a hot pool, and toured the spa, stables and other villas. The very hilly terrain was a practical concern for easier movement around the property. The intimate, casual, quiet setting suited curious families and adventurous guests keen on local excursions.
