The guest liked the hotel, amenities, location and beautiful rooms. Staff were friendly but service inconsistent and slow to follow through. Twice, someone promised help for the next day only for the guests to discover that person was not working then; other promises also went unfulfilled. They saw these as small but repeated disappointments. Restaurant food was average, with better meals nearby. They would still return.

The guests enjoyed their short, last-minute winter beach break. They liked the modern, well-built rooms and mentioned a sunken lounge in the pool viewed from their balcony. After trying several upscale places, they considered this the best hotel food on the island, particularly the generous ceviche tostadas. Restaurant and beachfront staff were excellent. The beach was small, but that did not stop them enjoying drinks and sunshine by the water.
