The guests loved staying in the historic part of the converted Union Station. Their room's size, decor and amenities impressed them, as did the service, bar and restaurant and outdoor spaces. A hallway beverage station with a freezer drawer of ice-cream bars was a favourite touch. Each of the two guests also received an individual handwritten note, which made the welcome feel especially personal.

The guest liked how the hotel preserved its history while adding modern furnishings and fixtures. The rooms were rather small but thoughtfully designed in a Western style, with a spacious modern bathroom. Breakfast offered excellent quality for a reasonable price, Salt & Stone toiletries felt luxurious and service was excellent throughout.
