The guest appreciated thoughtful design throughout: a large open lounge with mid-century styling and views over the pool and ocean, a good bar, and room touches including books, a reading chair, a small deck and a grassy-dune view. They also praised the service, spa services and gym with a view. With the hotel occupying one floor of the building, it felt private and tucked away; the modest entrance lobby made the main hotel floor a pleasant surprise.

The guests enjoyed a memorable New Year's Eve stay, beginning with a warm greeting outside as they arrived. Attentive staff welcomed them and showed them to a room with wonderful views. Throughout the hotel they found staff friendly, professional and willing to help. They liked being across the street from the ocean and boardwalk and hoped to return in warmer weather to use the pool and outdoor areas.
