The guests liked this small hotel by Piazza Maggiore in Bologna. Check-in was smooth and their room ready early, so they could freshen up and explore. They noted the Neptune statue outside, about three minutes to the Quadrilatero and ten to the university area. Staff were warm and helpful with taxis to the station and dinner reservations. The room was on the small side but comfortable, with a firm bed that gave them good sleep. They found it good value and would recommend it.

The multigenerational family enjoyed five nights in a very central location, useful for midday breaks. There was one lift, with stairs also easy to use, and reception quickly arranged cars or taxis to the front door. Their large Junior Suite for four had two bathrooms, good air conditioning during a heatwave, clean accommodation and comfortable beds. However, too much living-room furniture made it crowded when the sofa bed and extra bed were set up, and there were no drawers. Their parents' spacious top-floor room had weaker air conditioning. They enjoyed attentive breakfast service and good options including eggs and frittata. Room service was available but they did not use it. They would happily recommend the hotel and return.
