A June 2026 stay reinforced the advisor’s recommendation of 1 Hotel South Beach for active, wellness-minded travellers. Lively public spaces contrasted with the beachfront retreat, and spacious suites, generous living areas and excellent butlers made the rooms comfortable, though a soaking tub was missed. Anatomy stood out as an unusually strong fitness facility. Pools, a hot tub, direct beach access and wellness activities added substance. Aviv, casual Plnthouse and good coffee made dining another strength. In client work, the team was also responsive. The advisor saw it as a good fit for couples and families who wanted substantial resort facilities with South Beach energy.

Returning to 1 Hotel South Beach for a January 2026 stay, the advisor still liked its beauty, energy and excellent beach team, but found value weaker than on an earlier visit. Staff were kind at a late arrival, although the possible upgrade was only discussed after the advisor asked; a larger room was then provided. Pre-arrival concierge help secured a sought-after restaurant booking. The room felt somewhat dated and the pool less well maintained. Beach staff helped organise late departure when reception was hard to reach. At the shared Anatomy gym, photographs were prohibited and the advisor found no water station. Included breakfast was average. The overall stay was pleasant, but expensive for what was delivered.
