Guanacaste covers a broad part of Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. Our destination page currently brings together El Mangroove and JW Marriott Guanacaste, two hotels with different addresses and different travel logistics. This small selection is a starting point, not a ranking of every resort in the region.
El Mangroove is in the Gulf of Papagayo; JW Marriott Guanacaste is at Hacienda Pinilla by Playa Mansita. Their official directions put them at different distances from Guanacaste’s international airport. Compare the journey and your intended outings before treating these hotels as interchangeable beach stays.
Explain whether you want most days at the resort or regular trips beyond it. Check the room’s view, bed arrangement, beach access and facilities relevant to your party. Swimming conditions, activity schedules and any children’s arrangements need confirmation for the hotel and dates; a coastal location does not settle those details.
Have airport transport, meals, mandatory resort charges and any planned activities priced alongside the room. Confirm whether each transfer is hotel-operated or a separately arranged service. For a Marriott rate or advisor proposal, check eligibility and loyalty treatment in writing. No current offer in our feed does not mean either hotel is unavailable.
