Signia Hilton Savannah has topped out, according to Hilton’s October 19 announcement. The 444-room project is planned to connect directly to the Savannah Convention Center and is anticipated to open in 2028.
For an event planner, that connection could change how a future group moves between guestrooms and meetings. It does not establish that a room block or a particular meeting space can already be contracted. Ask the hotel team which dates they are accepting, which milestones remain and what protections apply if delivery changes.
For leisure travel, keep this separate from properties welcoming guests today. A construction announcement is not a bookable offer. If a future convention is the reason for your trip, compare the eventual hotel terms with the organizer’s official accommodation arrangements.
